Dealing with Serious Pathology in Homeopathic Practice
As students and practitioners of the homeopathic healing art, we are constantly invited to deepen our ability to deal with the various challenges this kind of work brings us on a daily basis. Some of us have trouble going into practice. Some of us struggle with our self-confidence once we are in practice. Some of us have issues around carrying too much responsibility for our clients. Some of us just get too busy and forget our own well-being. A lot of us experience uncertainty around the serious pathologies we increasingly face in our clients today.
What is often forgotten is that the success and sustainability of our homeopathic practice is a mirror of our inner state as human beings. Your success as a homeopath begins with you.
This weekend with Declan will give you an opportunity to look at how you might be getting in your own way of running a successful and sustainable homeopathic practice. The seminar is potentially beneficial at any stage of your career - for students and seasoned practitioners alike. The success and sustainability of your practice will be the main theme on Saturday the 26th, which is arranged by our School in conjunction with The Finnish Society of Homeopaths for their annual autumn meeting.
On Friday evening and Sunday alike, Declan will also spend a lot of time discussing how to deal with very serious pathology in your clients - such as cancer and mental illness. This part of the seminar is arranged by the School (former SHLI) and is open to everybody.
About Declan Hammond:
A Dublin-based internationally renowned homeopath, Declan has always had a vast fascination for alternative lifestyles and consciousness exploration. He is a student of Western and Eastern psychologies, Tantra Yoga, as well as Shamanic healing practices. Declan has developed a synthesis of ancient and modern healing techniques, which have empowered him greatly in his practice. He has introduced a number of new remedies to the homeopathic materia medica and is responsible for a number of provings of shamanic medicines.
Homeopathy for Declan has always been an evolutionary tool, a tool for personal growth and spiritual development. His work is a constant search for the most effective ways of supporting himself, his patients and students, as they travel together on their healing journeys.
Declan has taught homeopathy widely, including Denmark, India, Iceland, England, Holland, Sweden, Finland, Israel, New Zealand and Wales and is a regular speaker at homeopathic conferences both at home and abroad. He is co-founder and a director of The Irish School of Homeopathy. (www.ish.ie)
